Huntington Local Schools would like to congratulate Mrs. Cheryl Gibson on being recognized as an Outstanding Educator. Mrs. Gibson was recognized at the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools Awards Luncheon. CORAS serves 110 districts over 32 counties in Appalachia.
Huntington Local Schools will be closed on Monday, February 20th in observance of President's Day.
Huntington Middle School was well-represented at the County Spelling Bee on Friday, February 17th. Cooper Cantrell, Alyssa Milliron, Isabella Fanning and Danica Elliott competed against students from around the county. Alternates were Thomas O’ Leary and Gracie Paugh.

Huntington Softball! Any girl Pre-K through 6th grade interested in playing softball the final signup is this Sunday, January 29th from 9-11am and 4-6pm in the Unioto Middle School auditeria. Cost is $100.
The middle school field trip to Triple Crown will be rescheduled. Once a date has been set, notification will be sent home with the students.
