🏃♂️🏐 FREE Sports Physicals for 2026-2027 School Year! 🏈⚽
Athletes currently in grades 8–11 can receive a FREE physical from Adena Sports Medicine on Wednesday, May 6th at school!
📋 Important Details:
• Pick up physical forms in the HS or MS office starting today
• Forms must be signed and brought with you on Wednesday
• Required for participation in athletics for the 2026-2027 school year

Transportation Update for Tomorrow
Due to a bus driver shortage, some routes will be adjusted:
🚌 All Pickaway Ross CTC students will ride the elementary bus to school and then be transported to the CTC.
🚌 Bus 6 (Charlie’s Bus): High School and Middle School students will ride the elementary bus to and from school.
🚌 No transportation will be provided to Zane Trace and Circleville units.

At approximately 8:00am, Huntington Local School District received another threat. School personnel have conducted a walkthrough of the building, and security cameras have been reviewed for any overnight activity. The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is en route to the building.
We will remain on a modified lockdown until law enforcement has cleared the building. School will proceed as normal today.

Because of the road closure for the bridge replacement on Trego Creek Road, students who live between the closure and Bethel Road can meet the bus at the end of Bethel Road. High school pickup is at 7:20 a.m., and elementary pickup is at 8:25 a.m. Afternoon drop-off at that location will be 2:55 p.m. for high school students and 3:45 p.m. for elementary students.
Students who live between Lunbeck Road and the bridge closure can meet the bus at Rozelle Creek Market. High school pickup is at 7:15 a.m., and elementary pickup is at 8:20 a.m. Afternoon drop-off times there are 2:55 p.m. for high school students and 3:40 p.m. for elementary students.

Due to a traffic backup on Route 23, the Vocational bus will be late returning to school. Students that ride Charlie's MS/HS bus will ride the afternoon Elementary bus route.

This morning the Sheriff Office informed Huntington Local School District that they had received another threat to the district. Law enforcement and K-9 units have been on sight clearing the campus to secure a safe environment for our kids to safely attend on a regular schedule. We will be in session today on a normal schedule.
Huntington Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Tuesday, March 17th.
