Huntington Community,
This morning, our school received a call from the Ross County Sheriff’s Department reporting that a bomb threat had been made to their office concerning our school. As a precaution, students and staff were quickly and safely evacuated to our designated location.
Law enforcement arrived within minutes and conducted a thorough sweep of the building and surrounding grounds. After completing their investigation, it was determined that there is no credible threat to our school or students.
We commend our students and staff for their professionalism and calm behavior during the evacuation, as well as the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, Huntington Township Fire Department, State Highway Patrol, US Marshal Service, Ohio University Police Department, and Columbus Fire Department Bomb Squad for their swift and effective response.
As always, we will take time to review today’s procedures to identify what worked well and what can be improved. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our families and community.
Thank you for your continued support,
AT BUFFALO WILD WINGS, EVERY BITE EARNS MONEY FOR YOUR LOCAL ORGANIZATION AND SPORTS TEAMS.
