This morning the Sheriff Office informed Huntington Local School District that they had received another threat to the district. Law enforcement and K-9 units have been on sight clearing the campus to secure a safe environment for our kids to safely attend on a regular schedule. We will be in session today on a normal schedule.

All 6th grade students have the opportunity to attend 6th grade camp with our school. We want your child to be safe, remain healthy, and have a wonderful trip experience. To ensure that your child remains safe and healthy, we have sent home a medication letter and forms with the students. All medication forms and medications will need to be turned in to the school nurse by Monday, April 27th. This is to ensure the proper order has been obtained and the necessary paperwork is completed that will go with the trained staff member.

The building has been fully cleared by law enforcement and the canine unit. Middle School and High School buses are now en route to pick up students for school. Superintendent Mr. Ruby will be issuing an all call shortly with additional information.
