Huntington Local School Board presented two special recognitions at the March meeting.
First recognition was to the High School Quiz Bowl team for becoming the Ross County Quiz Bowl Tournament and qualifying for the National Small School Quiz Bowl Tournament.
Second recognition was to Giacinta Wright who was chosen as outstanding classified staff member of the year. Giacinta was recognized at the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools Awards Luncheon. CORAS serves 110 districts over 32 counties in Appalachia.

Any student athlete who is not currently in a winter sport who wishes to play High School Softball tryouts are this week in the elementary gymnasium.
Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:45pm
Thursday from 6:30-8pm

Due to inclement weather, the United Way has cancelled the food drop for today, Saturday February 15th.
Reminder - There is no school tomorrow, February 13th for teacher professional development day. Bus service from Huntington High School to and from Pickaway-Ross CTC will be available on the normal scheduled times.
