Huntington Elementary is having a Read-a-thon!
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-a-thon starts Monday February 28, 2022. We will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page today. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/hlbQWr/1 and following the simple instructions.
All proceeds raised will go towards our Proud Huntsmen Behavior Program. Thank you for supporting our school!

Parents,
Please know our district wants our students to be at school but we also want them safe.
1. Remote learning wasn’t an option due to most kids not having their chromebooks at home.
2. Your student will be excused if they live on a road that is not passable by our buses.
3. Our teachers will review and reteach any content that is missed.
4. For some of our students, the best meals they get are when they are at school. Missing school days often means missing meals.
Closing school is not something that is taken lightly. We wish we never had to close our doors. If you have any questions, please feel free to send the administrators an email.
PS. We miss your kids. 💚
It is National School Counseling Week! Our Counselors have a tremendous impact on helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. Thank you for all you do!
