Mrs. Marcum was honored at the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) Awards Luncheon. CORAS serves 110 school districts across 32 counties throughout Appalachia and recognizes educators who demonstrate exceptional dedication and impact in their schools and communities.
A Kindergarten teacher at Huntington Elementary, Mrs. Marcum was selected for this prestigious award because of her unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to the growth and success of every student she teaches. Her passion for education and love for her students truly make a difference each and every day.
