NASA

On Thursday and Friday, the TH!NK21 and some 4th grade classes joined in google chat with an engineer that has worked for NASA for 39 years. His name is Jeff Eberts. He is a graduate of Vinton county high school and Ohio University. After earning his civil engineer degree, he started working for NASA in 1981. His first  engineering  position for NASA was as a hypergolic engineer. This type of engineer works on fueling and controlling the launch of rockets. He has experienced everything NASA, from rockets to the shuttle program. Currently, he is working on the Orion project that will take the first woman astronaut to the moon. Jeff’s professional experiences, inspired our students to believe that the sky is the limit when considering their career possibilities.
