Congratulations to Quinton Puckett and Mavrick Smith who finished 1st in the Regional Wrestling Tournament. They will now move on to compete at the STATE LEVEL. 

The Girls Basketball Banquet will be March 7th at 6:30 at the Huntington Chapel Fellowship Hall on Windy Ridge Rd. Dinner and dinnerware will be provided by Huntington Chapel  

The date for the Spring Pictures has been changed to March 4th. Order forms will be with your Flex teacher. 

The Recovery Council Prevention Department (Miss Hamlin) will be sponsoring a FREE Skating Party, Free Pizza and Drinks on Thursday Feb. 28th from 6:00-8:00 at the Cavalier Skating Rink. Everyone is invited. 

Order forms for the 2018-19 Yearbook are in the office. 

Cheerleading Clinics will be Today, Tuesday and Thursday (Feb. 25, 26 & 28) from 4:30-6:30. Try-outs will be Saturday March 2nd from 10:00-2:00. Be sure to pick up a packet in the office if you intend to try-out) 

Attention 6th and 7th graders… If you would like to work in the Student-Run Credit Union next year, we have applications in the office for students who will be entering 7th and 8th grades. Various jobs are available. They will be hiring a Branch Manager, Member Service Representative, Teller, Bookkeeper and Data Entry Specialist. Don’t forget, if you make a transaction every Wednesday during the month of February, you could win a $20 Visa Gift Card. 
 
It’s time for the 2019 Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library’s Poetry Contest. Any student from Kindergarten through 12th grade is eligible to participate. The contest begins Feb. 1st and the deadline for the final entry is Friday March 1. Categories and grades are K-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8 and High School. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners and Honorable Mentions in each category will be notified and given an invitation to attend a reception held in their honor on April 10th at 6:00. They will receive a certificate, a copy of this year’s book and an opportunity to read their poems at the reception. Any form (Piku, Haiku, Free Verse, Limericks etc.) is accepted.
