1. The National Honor Society will meet today at 10:30 in the Middle School Gym.

2. Cheerleading Try-outs will be this Friday from 5:30-7:00 and Saturday from 10:00 – 12:00 in the Middle School Gym. This is for girls who will be in 7th and 8th grade next year. (Currently in 6th and 7th grades)

3. Open Enrollment applications were mailed to current open enrolled students in March for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. Please return the completed application to the superintendent’s office as soon as possible to be considered for open enrollment next year.

4. Results from the SVC Track Meet: Allison Basye was the Meet Medalist with 1st place in the 100 m Hurdles, 1st in Long Jump and 2nd in the 200 m. Hurdles. The Boys team came in 4th place. 1st place winners were the 4x100 Relay Team (Dalton Haubeil, Greg Richards, Seth McCloskey and Jarod Bellar), the 4x200 Relay Team (Dalton Haubeil, Greg Richards, Seth McCloskey and Brayden Clay), the 4x400 team (Greg Richards, Seth McCloskey, Brian Hertenstein and Jarod Bellar). 2nd place went to Jarod Bellar in the 800 m Run and Dalton Haubeil in the Long Jump. 3rd place Pole Vault was a tie with Alan Smith and Matthew Baker, 5th place in the 1600 m Run was Brian Hertenstein, Brayden Clay got 6th in the 110 Hurdles and Wes Brown took 8th in the 1600 m. Run.

5. Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl who is interested in playing basketball next year, please see Miss Carroll (room # 205) for open gym schedules and camp papers.

6. Girls Basketball Players: If you are planning to attend the Summer Skills Camp on June 4th, 5th & 6th , please turn in your money and form to Coach Carroll by Friday, May 11th.

7. The National Honor Society Assembly will be Wednesday May 9th at 1:30.
The End of the Year Awards will be Friday, May 18th at 1:30.

8. The 2018 Spring Art Show and Band Concert will be Tuesday, May 15th. The Art exhibit will be open from 5:00-7:00. The concert starts at 7:00 in the High School Gym. They will be featuring the 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band, 7th & 8th Grade Band and the High School Band. Band members need to report to the band room by 6:30 wearing their “concert best”.

9. Kids in College is a summer enrichment program for students finishing grades K-8. This will be a summer program for kids who are interested in science, history, theater, crafts, archeology, video, tumbling, pottery, dance, cooking, sewing, genealogy, Minecraft/coding, archery, starting your own business, literature, crime lab and other fun educational areas. Fliers are in the office with cost and details of locations. Registration deadline is May 29.

10. The 2018 yearbooks can be ordered now. Order forms will be in each office or you can follow the link of the yearbook page on the school website.
